The Job
Working closely with the Art Director and creative team, the Designer will support the visual development and execution of asset creation for all current retainer social clients, strategy projects, and email or ad campaigns. The Designer will collaborate with the design team day-to-day to align imagery, design, brand, and any other client visual elements to produce engaging content and facilitate brand growth as envisioned by Arcade Studios.
The Specifics
Working directly with the Art Director, Senior Designer and account managers to assist in developing concepts and deliverable assets.
Assisting the Art Director and Design team with creative projects and development: helping create graphic concepts, visual boards, lookbooks, and more.
Demonstrating highest level of customer service; convey a polished and professional demeanor with clients during day-to-day calls and emails, in-person meetings, on-site production and photo shoots.
Working with the Art Director and account managers to ensure timeliness, clarity, and quality of tasks assigned.
Providing insight and awareness around emerging creative trends, assist in identifying those worth pursuing and/or implementing.
Contributing in brainstorming meetings and creative sessions.
Ensuring brand standards are maintained across all client deliverables.
The Skills
Proficient in Figma and Adobe suite – namely Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
Skills in video editing and animation are considered an asset (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Final Cut).
Knowledge of email design and email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo and Mailchimp.
Knowledge of web design platforms such as Squarespace and Shopify. Basic coding skills are also an asset.
3D design and modelling skills are considered a bonus.
